Looking for advise about siren and doorbel

Hi
I am looking around shops and on the net to find out what Siren I could use in my home assistant installation. I would be great if I could use an alarm that has also doorbel functionality that I can configure my self in home assistant.

Most devices here working with Zigbee but I think the Zigbee network here is reaching an limit on devices and or coverage. So Z-wave might be something I could consider.

I use the zwave Aeotec Doorbell 6. Works great.

Does that one work directly in home assistant and without some cloud service ?

yes. it’s zwave. that’s the way all zwave stuff works.

Great I will check it out. I was considering to use a loudspeaker for it but that would be a hassle to put multiple speakers in the setup
