I have been running an Aeon Labs Home Energy Meter - Gen 5 since Oct 2nd of 2022 on my home assistant without any issues. Love the way home assistant tracks my energy and the Aeon Labs was easy to setup.
On an average day with no solar input my house hangs out right at 2 kWh per hour.
(can’t put more then one embedded picture so had to delete example.)
This is consistent and has been for several months. I check my HA and update it on the regular about every 2 - 3 weeks. On April 1 my energy reports went nuts… logging 10s of thousands of kWh and I have been using one of the Developer tools to correct it hoping an update would fix the problem. So far nothing.
If I let it go for a few days the patterns seem to be the same but not same times. Nothing in my house is pulling 10 kWh in one hour. I can find nothing in the house to suggest there is anything going on to make this keep happening.
Should I consider the device is going bad? If I delete it and get another all previous data should stay in the DB correct? Does anyone have any suggestions? I am current on HA 2023.4.0
