i am looking for Z-Wave Switches as replacment for normal switch. My target is to replace all normal switches with z-wave or zigbee switches. The switch should be able to switch the normal electrical circuit without the gateway but it should also switch or trigger a scence. For example i switch the normal light on or of and other devices in the room will be switched.
bit of an old post, but i struggled with the “right” way to do this with traditional switches also.

their nano switch hasn’t been released yet, but is “available in 2016” 
you connect it TO the switch in the junction box. so the switch can toggle the light, mostly as per usual, but you can also automate “from afar”.
the big bonus for me is that i can keep my traditional switches instead of switching to decora or the hideous GE ones that look similar to a traditional US switch but stick straight out and trigger my uncanny valley response.
