I’d like to replace my thermostat with something that can be controlled remotely. I want a solution that doesn’t depend on cloud and since I have already a few zibgee devices this looks like a good choice.
The problem I have is that my current thermostat is pretty far from the boiler, and right now it is a 2 pieces: a control unit near the boiler which has the control relay and a battery powered thermostat which is connected via a proprietary RF protocol that does the actual temperature reading.
I wonder if there is any similar zigbee solution which allows me to have the thermostat not directly connected to the boiler.
