Finally migrated from Vera, and working my way through setup. I have about 30 z-wave devices, using Z-Wave-JS and a Beelink Mini-PC running HASS with a Zooz 700 series USB controller.
What I am noticing is that sometimes nodes get “lost”. If I ask for a “rebuild routes”, it usually fixes the problem. Any thoughts on why I need to do this? I thought Z-wave would automatically re-mesh if a node is lost. With all of my Vera problems, maintaining the z-wave network worked pretty well. What is different in this setup is that some of the nodes user encryption, but I don’t think that should matter if understand how this all works.
Anyone have a similar experience?
