Lovelace: Bar Card

  1. A zipped code may not contain a JS file. In some repos you will not see a JS file as well in a code folder. But when using HACS, it finds the JS file in some folder (not usually accessible by a user; I omit technical details).
  2. What HACS says when you try to add the repo via “add custom repo.”
  3. Also, your question was about the original card. The link you posted leads to something different. Not every repo can be added as “custom” into HACS - there are requirements for a repo from a HACS side. If HACS says something like “repo is not compatible with HACS” - this is the case. But the original repo WAS compatible (unless something was broken from a HACS side).

The original repo was removed from HACS because no maintenance since 2020. I found a js file in one fork, so I will try to install it manually.

Because someone was too stupid to complain in HACS repo and claim to remove the card which still works fine.
Check HACS repo, you will see plenty of similar idiotic requests, mist if them are luckily ignored.
You have not answered my concrete question, so ok, try with other repo.
