Lovelace dashboard card order - please fix!

I know this is an issue and a debated topic, but please - let us have some more control over where cards are placed on the dashboards. I’m trying to contain my frustration but this “auto arrangement” thing is infuriating. Please let us adjust the card order in a simple way.

I’ve installed home assistant based systems for a few friends and family members and everyone has this complaint.

Engineer to engineer - please let us have some control over card placement.

You have absolute control if you use the layout card OR just put your cards in vertical/horizontal stacks

Exactly, with horizontal and vertical stacks i’ve got a stable layout having everything exactly, where i want it. :wink:

There’s the grid card now too.

Also the frontend devs are working on drag and drop placement. It may see the light of day, it may not.

As this has been requested before (please search before posting) I’m locking the topic.

I forgot about the grid card having never used it
