Lovelace Horizon card

Hello,

I wasn’t able to change the timezone manually in the card. How can I do?

You need to be a little more specific.

The time_zone is changed by replacing the entry “Europe/Sofia” with your time zone. You can find the so called TZ identifier in this list on wikipedia:

I want to see the sunset/sunrise time in Greek near Athens.
On the card documentation it said to use time_zone to use a different one than the hass default. I tried that one but the sunset time didn’t changed at all. I tried some other value from the wiki list, but I got the same time.
I also tried putting it in a double quote but nothing.
Finally using the latitude and longitude value it did work but I would like to use the time_zone cause it is more basic and readable instead of using Lat and long.

When HA 2023.7 "local" display time zone is used, the time zone from card config is ignored

HA 2023.7 introduced support for displaying date/time using the either the serve…r or the browser local time zone (#58 in Horizon card). This works well when the card is not configured to use a explicit time zone (via `time_zone: xxx`). When an explicit time zone in configured it works only when the HA display time zone is set to "server". When it's set to "local" the card uses the browser time zone instead of the explicitly configured time zone. The correct behaviour should be to use the explicitly configured time zone regardless of the HA setting.

You could try what is mentioned in the first post of that issue => change the setting for the user which time zone to use.

I’ve also installed this card and don’t understand how to enable the “Dark theme full look”. The Horizon Card configuration options don’t show up. Can anybody help? Running HA Core 2024.10.1 on Raspberry Pi4.
