I’m running hassio 2021.10.2 and I’ve setup a lovelace view which is a single panel map card. I’m using that as a cast screen so I can put it on the screen and track my wife’s progress coming home from work since I have to go pick her up close by.
Anyway, the casting works fine. I used the blueprint automation for cast and recast a view which re-casts the map every 9 minutes. The problem is that as the user object moves on the map, the map does not auto recenter like the main map in HA. So, my wife’s icon goes off the screen and I can’t see it again until the next 9-minute refresh.
I see the main map view in HA automatically recenters now as the objects move. Are there plans for the Lovelace map card to do the same or at least have an option for it? Is there any workaround for this in the meantime?
