Lovelace: Mini Media Player

Hello

I have a noob question maybe. I have a mi stick connected to a dumb tv. And I have a power on via broadlink IR. Is there a way to use a script to power on whenever the mi stick is unavailable? Or is there a way to override the turn on behavior of the media_player entity whenever it is unavailable with this card? Hope someone can help me

Use a universal media player https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/universal/

What integration are you using to integrate Casatunes?

Is anybody can open my eyes on ma mistake please ?

Like i see in the github but nothin for me

Super happy with what we can achieve with thisā€¦ one question:

Can we change the remaining time indicator to time remaining somehow? So when thereā€™s 20 minutes left, we get - 20:00?

Hey all,

These cards wont work for me, Iā€™ve installed though HASC, added the resource

But when I try to add the card from one of the code examples, I get:

What could I be doing wrong?

Thanks

The correct URL for a HACS install is

/hacsfiles/mini-graph-card/mini-graph-card-bundle.js

Thanks mate! appreciate the response, but no change.

I may be wrong in how this works, but if try to SSH to /hacsfiles/mini-graph-card/ folder does not exist. But I can dig down to a directory

/config/www/community/mini-media-player/mini-media-player.js

BUT,

If i try that in resources, does not work either

/hacsfiles is a special shortcut. It appears in your setup for the battery-state-card.

Have you cleared your cache or restarted home assistant?

ooops i did quote the wrong line above, try

/hacsfiles/mini-media-player/mini-media-player-bundle.js

Hacsfiles like local isnā€™t a ā€˜realā€™ directory. Itā€™s a special endpoint used by HACS and other cards

HAHA, yeah that one doesnā€™t work either.

I was using incognito mode, but Iā€™ve just restarted and cleared cookies etc in chrome.

No difference.

I even just tried adding this into the RAW editor, but im not sure if that works because I installed it though HACS

resources:

  • url: /hacsfiles/mini-graph-card/mini-graph-card-bundle.js
    type: module

Oh I missed that as well lol

/hacsfiles/mini-media-player/mini-media-player-bundle.js

But no, let me restart and see

Ok, got it, I was copying the code from Github which is indented.

Taken all that out and it works fine, sorry for wasting your time LOL, and thanks!

You can add resources under configuration/lovelace dashboards

HACS adds the resources anyway when you install a cardā€¦

That is not my experience lately.

I have never had it not do thatā€¦ have you logged an issue?
(Uninstalling a card the other day also cleaned up and deleted it)

Another quick question. Has anyone used Alexa Media Player with this?

I can add the Alexas into the multi group player, but I canā€™t seem to add Alexas to whatā€™s playing?

If you are talking about speaker group management, it seems not to be supported. https://github.com/kalkih/mini-media-player#speaker-group-object
