Hello. I found the questions months before but I couldnt find the reply.
I have 4 simple thermostats cards and one template to average all of them.
My 4 thermostats have different target temperature. When I change the temp from master template they are all goes to the same target.
What I need is
To keep the exact temp in each thermostat and add only the average diference when I change the master tamplate.
Or
Alternative, to hide the arrows of the master template card and use only the presets.
Sorry for my bad english and thank you for your time.
Hello Stefan, i am beginner with HA. I have seen your poste of the Simple Thermostat card. Now I have almost the same card. Only your added sensor, with te green leaf , witch is perfecty, is missing…;
Can I have a screenshot of the code that you made. I mean how you made:
You can make it very easily in the UI with a threshold sensor. Select your energy production entity from DSMR and set an upper limit of a small value like 1W. Whenever you are producing green energy (returning energy to the grid via solar panels) this threshold sensor will be true.
Dose anyone have any methods of disabling the more-info screen when you tap the temperature.
Unfortunately the change in the climate entity card (more-info) in 2023 means that the UI/UX is a different experience (horseshoe) to the simple-thermostat UI/UX experience.
I fully expect that card-mod may have something, I just cant find any references thru search
Sorry for the late response, I was out of town. I don’t remember if I ever figured it out or not to be honest. So many things in my setup and with HA have changed since 2021.
I am now using a Honeywell z-wave thermostat instead of the Trane and I use the Mushroom climate card to control it. I have also used the default climate card supplies with HA. Both report my temps in Fahrenheit not Celsius.
Well, it is 4 year old comment. I am not surprised it is no longer working. The HTML / CSS layout has changed since that time.
I am not personally using any such hack for years already as I switched to Zigbee TRVs and there is no need for such modifications.
I think you need to inspect the page code and adapt the CSS selectors to match current reality.
On my ipad see: custom element doesnt exist: simply thermostat . On my pc and android, working, only on my ipad dont want. Either on safari and HA app. 16.7.2 - ipad os. Home asistant app, up to date
