Ambient temperature provided by TRV’s internal sensor is usually few degrees higher than actual ambient temperature, because it is mounted on/near radiator.
Many TRV can use temperature from external sensor for regulating valve. It will be great if this temperature can be optionally displayed on thermostat card instead of one provided by the thermostat.
Not sure if this makes so much sense since - at least in my setup with Aqara E1 TRV - the external temperature sensor information is shown in the TRV lovelace tile as the reference temperature. For the device temperature I have to go into the device info page and as you can see in the data below it can be easily distincted the temperatures at the trv and the temperatures of the external temperature sensor (1m away on the opposite wall facing towards the radiator).
