Lovelace WallPanel show no pictures

Hi HA Community

I was able to successfully install the following plugin

As described on the page, I was also able to configure the following short configuration

wallpanel:
  enabled: true
  hide_toolbar: true
  hide_sidebar: true
  fullscreen: true

On this page…

…I found the following example to show his own pictures

wallpanel:
  enabled: true
  hide_toolbar: true
  hide_sidebar: true
  fullscreen: true
  image_url: /media #or /media/pets, /media/birthday_party etc.

Unfortunately, when I test it, no images are displayed

My images are stored in HA as follows:

Medien → My media → Meiden

The “Media” folder is a shared Folder on my Synology NAS
image

And according to the following screenshot you can see that HA can also access it

By “image_url” I tried it with “media/” or “media/Medien” etc. but all without success.

Does anyone have an idea why the two images are not displayed?

Thanks and best regards
Buhli

You probably need /Medien/My media/Medien as the source and you might need quotes/double quotes around it to get the space included.

Spaces are generally a bad idea and Linux, which HA runs on are cases sensitive, so capital letters are important to get right too.
In general capital letters are not recommended either. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @WallyR

Thank you for your reply.

At the end It works if I use only “/” as path.

Thanks and best regards
