well the “old” is the state of your weather component, Are you sure there is a difference between the card you are using and the background? Or is the weather state just a weather setting that is not yet defined?

On desktop, it works like a charm. On the ios-App, the video starts in foreground and plays… I have to close it.

I tried to modify yours but i’m not a programmer and I could’n achieve nothing.
I just want to put a video background into all my dashboards, without weather, without that addon “lovelace animated background”, just a very simple js file, like yours but even more simpler.
