Hello everyone,
I would like to create a mode for Home assistant to only have essential functions (Climate, security etc…) and reduce its data consumption to the minimum.
This would be in case my internet connexion crashes (via optical fiber), I have a router with 4G sim card that could still send me Home assistant status to my mobile app when I’m away. But I just want to have a very low volume of data by limiting unuseful API requests and non critical services.
Does anyone knows how to do that?
Thanks !
I would like this too. Now I see my 2gb 4g lte data limit beeing eaten so fast with many sessions of 5mb while I didn’t access the home assistant at all… I’d like to minimize the data usage and be able to use a minimal data amount for the remote instance to only use some data for sending some mqtt messages to my remote broker via mqtt bridge to be able to monitor this remote instance that is on a mobile data stick and for the VPN for remote shell access.
Did you find any solutions?
