LSC-Filam-Big Tasmota 14.5.0 – How to Configure Home Assistant

I have updated my LSC-Filam-Big from Tasmota-lite version 8 to Tasmota-lite 14.5.0 (tasmota-minimal.8.5.1 → tasmota-lite.9.1.0 → tasmota-lite_14.5.0).

Now, I want Home Assistant to behave the same way as my previous setup. Where (and how) is the best place to configure this?

Current behavior:

  • When turning on the light via the 230V switch, power is supplied to the lamps, and they turn on in normal light mode (not at full brightness). This is the last known state, so let’s keep it that way.
  • When the light turns on automatically (30 minutes after sunset or earlier in case of rain), the lamps enter dim mode (currently using the dim bit).
    • This means that the lights gradually dim if no motion is detected (PIR sensor) and quickly turn on when motion is detected.
    • If the lamps are not in dim mode, they remain on at a steady brightness.
  • Using the brightness slider:
    • If I set the brightness above 50%, the lights exit auto-dim mode.
    • If I move the slider all the way to the left (minimum brightness), the lights re-enter auto-dim mode.
  • When the lights turn off automatically at the end of the night, the brightness is set to normal light and fast dimming.
    • This ensures that when the lights are turned on manually, they turn on immediately.
  • When the motion sensor turns off the lights, they first dim slowly, then switch to fast dimming mode.
    • This ensures that when they turn back on, they do so quickly.
    • After fast dimming, they return to slow dimming mode, so they dim smoothly when turning off.

How can I best configure this in Home Assistant after the Tasmota update?

Thanks in advance! :rocket:

(I think it’s clearer in Dutch.)
