If Chrome is taking forever to load pages after you upgraded your MacOS to Big Sur and you are using Pi- Hole:
add BLOCKINGMODE=NODATA to your /etc/pihole/pihole-FTL.conf file on the pi.
This drove me nuts for hours, so I am putting it out there.
