Better late than never! I got mine talking to Home Assistant entities using MQTT here https://github.com/javiergayala/MMM-mqtt/issues/1. Temperature from ESPEasy on bottom left via MQTT. If you add another instance of MMM-MQTT with a different topic in your config file, MM will simply stack the entities one of top of the other.
