Say i want to find a ‘cat flap’ with a home assistant integration. it’d be nice if you could go to /integrations/ and search for ‘cat flap’ there… But currently nothing gets returned because it doesn’t look at the descriptions of each integration.
But I would expect Sure Petcare - Home Assistant to show up.
obv it should always search in description, maybe it should be a toggle. but yeah
There is an advanced search on the homepage available, which does a full-text search.

The problem with using search in HA is that it will only find core integrations, not custom ones. Even when searching HACs you will miss really good options.
This forums search is also not great. So a plain internet search and some questions here would get you the best results any time.
Did you search this in your favorite search engine. ( found many in google…)?
