Hi all
So basically I have a light which is operated by batteries (2 AAs), it has no connectivity at all to the Internet and obviously it has a switch to turn it on/off.
I am looking to integrate it with HA using the switch. I wanted some ideas on how I could achieve this maybe using RF?
Can someone please throw in suggestions?
Thanks.

There are 2 easy options.
1: Sonoff adjust the firmware
2. RF switch
1. Universal RF switch but you have to cut the cord
2. RF outlet switch

The second one I don’t see how it would work as my lights are all battery powered so there is no option of converting it to AC.
The first one I think it works by supplting 12V DC from an adapter and it can control any device from 1V to 250V. Is that correct?
Ideally I would like to have the first one but all wireless. So powering up the relay without a 12V DC adapter and a battery possibly?
Thanks.
I actualy think the sonoff will drain the battery’s to quickly.
This mini rf switch can do the trick u guess. with a small stepup

That looks good.
I wonder what type of transmitter will it require for it to work ?!
