Manage Homekit devices in Apple Home and transfer them to Home Assistant

Hi, I am new to Homeassistant. I have already integrated many devices directly into Apple Home and would like to keep this as the leading system. However, I would like to see all Apple Home devices in Homeassistant so that I can build dashboards there and control the devices. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a way to do this yet.

This isn’t what you want to hear but it’s true: take your homekit devices out of apple and pair them to home assistant. Then you can export them back to apple and you get what you’re after.

What @rouxdoo says really is the best solution for a lot of reasons. When you do it this way then you have full control in both apps plus you can do a lot more HA triggers based on states of the HK devices. I have a couple hundred items synchronized to HK from HA purely so I can issue voice commands to any Siri device. I used to use the HK dashboard but between it’s overall clunkiness and the redesign a couple of years ago it’s just not a great interface to use (and I’m 95% voice centric anyway).
