Managing Light Groups (HA/Hue)

For those using Hue lights, how do you manage light groups in Home Assistant?

For example, we have ‘light.upstairs’ group managed by ‘HA’, then we have ‘light.upstairs_lights’ group by ‘Hue’. As it’s not possible to merge both groups together, I’m wondering should I leave both exposed, or remove the Hue group and just use Home Assistant group as it includes non-hue light bulbs as well?

I removed the zigbee (deconz) groups for my hue bulbs & just went for HA light groups. Works perfectly for me. I have heard people in the past say that zigbee groups might be arguably faster but i personally like to keep as much as possible controlled by the HA interface.
