Hi, i am new here and try to setup my dashboard on a beginner level. Certainly my intention has been discussed before. If so, you might just foreward me to the section that provides me a solution. Thanks.
For the kids and for some lights outside, i use rgb-lights. So, i am looking for a way to control the color, brightness, saturation etc. of these lights either individually or as a group. The light-entity-card is perfect for that - for the individual lights as for groups of lights. So far so good.
Personally i would like to be able not to have the light-entity-cards assigned to each individual light (device), as this is using up a lot of space. I would ideally just have the color properties being setup once, e.g. on a virtual light, and then assign setups to the individual devices or groups. This way i could easily copy & paste color setups from device to device (just as one example)
I am sure this should be possible and will propably have been done by somebody already. Maybe someone could give me a nice best practice how to do that in home assistant. I am thinking of creating a virtual device or to use other virtual instances, that i, as a beginner, am not aware of at this poinjt in time.
I hope my intention is clear. Anybody there to give me some advice? Thanks in advance.
