I recently had to do a fresh install of HassOS after my previously installation got stuck in recovery mode. I only had a partial back-up available, but it worked well and restored all the configuration, integrations, automations, etc.
The only thing the partial backup didn’t restore was the addons. I still had access to the old installation so took a punt and copied the /mnt/data/supervisor/addons directory (plus sub-directories) from the old to the new installation, but the addons didn’t magically appear in the new installation as I had hoped.
Has anybody ever managed to do anything similar successfully before? I’m trying to avoid adding the all addons again from scratch as one of them is the Mosquitto MQTT Broker which will be a pain to set-up again.
