Can I use the Home Assistant Yellow open source hardware details shared on Github to manufacture and sell it in market (online/offline)? Do I need to pay any royalty OR follow any instructions? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Yellow is based on a RPi which uses more then 10 year old lithography (22nm) and is well known to have a high idle consumption of 3-4 watts.
If you want to really manufacture hardware in 2023/2024 please don’t use such stone aged designs but go with something a little fresher in terms of being much more efficient.
Check out the home assistant green and specially the RK3566 that it is build around! (talking about 1 watt idle with ethernet connected!)
Thanks Tom!
By any way is Home Assistant Green hardware (Home Assistant Green - Home Assistant) is also open source and can be manufactured to sell in market as per CERN-OHL-S V2 license?
Makes Sense. Thanks for the inputs.
I don’t think so. I can’t find any hardware files on github.
