I am using HA 0.50.2 and have the same problem when using Firefox and Safari. Has anybody a solution to this?

I have exactly the same problem in Safari, FireFox and the iOS app. Been looking for a solution for a couple of weeks now with no succes. Been having this issue since 0.48 of 0.49
There is an open Github issue.
The only browser that works is Chrome

Maybe because of this:
Since 0.56 map is now its own component. Similar to configuration (config:), it will not show up without adding it to your configuration.yaml file.
