Recently I downloaded & installed the Material You (MY) theme by changing my HA theme in the Profile page to Material You theme. I then installed the MY Utilities which didn’t initially seem to work.
After clearing my cache & restarting HA I now have the Utilities showing in the sidebar, and some Material styling showing, however on the MY Utilities page I get a warning
You do not have Material You Theme installed! This module is made to work with Material You Theme and will not function properly otherwise. Install it using HACS.
Redownloading from Github didn’t fix the MY theme issue - the Themes dropdown in my Profile page is also greyed out.
I have this in my configuration.yaml
# Load frontend themes from the themes folder
frontend:
themes: !include_dir_merge_named themes
and in the /themes/material_you/ folder I see material_you.yaml
I’d rather not restore from a backup, as I’ve been doing other changes in HA (eg dashboards, etc) since then.
Should I remove 1) MY theme and 2) MY utilities and start over, installing 1) then 2)?
