The latest Matter Server v6.0.0 includes Matter 1.3 support which includes energy reporting. Well done developers, first off the block I think.
I’m after a thread Matter based plug ideally UK 13A that will report real-time energy consumption into HA. Does anyone know of a plug that is available now and will do that? I know that eve can do this in a non standard way but want to use standard Matter 1.3 features.
I think Eve will be the first one.
They have really been in first line with Matter for some time and it will proba ly just be a firmware update for it to be solved.
Remember that Eve have the technology in the plugs, but many cant use it, because they are not running a system that can grab the data out-of-band, like Home Assistant can.
