I haven’t been able to add a TP-Link WiFi dimmer to the Matter integration with my iPhone and I think I know why. According to the documentation, the HA Companion app uses Bluetooth on the phone for commissioning.
The iOS app does not have access to bluetooth so commissioning can’t happen.
In settings, the app can be given access to location, motion & fitness and a few other things but Bluetooth is not on the list.
Please excuse me if I’m missing something key. I’m new to HA.
But if I’m right, I understand that the Matter Int is a beta and issues are expected.
