Is it possible that my 2.4ghz WIFI is interfering with my Thread Border Router? The Border Router runs on channel 14 and my 2.4ghz is running on channel 1.
Also when I ping the device I get IPV4 and IPV6 but another address that doesn’t ping
No, I have over 25 White switches are they are rock solid. Matter device unavailability usually (not always) points to a local network issue of some type.
Please make sure your router is not restricting access to known devices (MAC address filter). Took me days to identify why matter/thread network was unreliable, same as you described.
I must admit that this wasn’t the solution as devices still became unavailable after some time, unfortunately. I now have locked the WIFI channel to 11, which make all my 6 tado X devices show up fine since last 3 days. Keeping my fingers crossed…
