I was wondering what is estimated maximum of the recorder DB size HomeAssistant can handle properly?
I’ve stored the data for the last two years and now my DB is around 40GB in size with around 37 mill rows.
While my setup run on I3, 8GB RAM and SSD on containers - it’s all failed after the attempt to upgrade to 2021.4.6.
I did manage to upgrade the DB moving it temporary into Amazon Aurora with enough resources, but it just doesn’t work if I move the DB back after.
Some of the queries from HA - just kill the DB. So I had to leave it in AWS for now.
Does anyone have any thoughts?
Just during the normal operation HA keeps db.r5.xlarge instance with 40-60% CPU load.
