πŸš† MBTALive 2.0 – A Complete Overhaul!

What’s New in 2.0?

:white_check_mark: Fully redesigned integration – more efficient, accurate, and reliable.
:white_check_mark: Now available in HACS – easy installation and updates.
:white_check_mark: Trip-based tracking – monitor direct trips from departure to arrival stops.
:white_check_mark: Supports multiple routes and lines – always finds the fastest way.
:white_check_mark: Improved real-time data – frequent updates for better accuracy.

How It Works

  • Tracks two trips:

    • Next trip β†’ The following trip, available in the next attribute.
  • Sorts trips by arrival time at the destination – prioritizing the fastest route.
  • Supports trains, subways, buses, and ferries with real-time locations.

Installation & Setup

:one: Install via HACS – Add https://github.com/chiabre/MBTALive as a custom repository.
:two: Restart Home Assistant.
:three: Add the MBTALive integration under Settings β†’ Devices & Services.
