Recently picked up some MCT-340 SMA (these are not showing the same as the E model) and the battery just shows as unknown. I tried taking the E model quirk from github and changing the model but still just seeing unknown. Any ideas on how to get it to see the battery percentage correctly?
Alright well, I guess I was just impatient. I figured rebooting the host or re-adding the device would have updated it but it is now showing battery percentage. If anyway finds this and needs the quirk just message me.
Please submit quirk update as pull request or submit new issue which describes the problem and solution:

Hello, I have the exact same issue, Visonic MCT-340 SMA battery shows “unknown” and in logs
[homeassistant.components.zha.core.cluster_handlers] [0xCC25:1:0x0001]: Failed to configure reporting for '['battery_percentage_remaining']' on 'power' cluster: [ConfigureReportingResponseRecord(status=<Status.UNSUPPORTED_ATTRIBUTE: 134>, direction=<ReportingDirection.SendReports: 0>, attrid=33)]
The battery quantity and voltage shows up in the attributes section (Like for you)
Do you still have this fix?
