Mealie addon unable to connect to webUI via Nabuacasa

I recently added the Mealie add-on and was able to grab the internal URL by clicking ‘open web UI’.

I then tried opening the web UI outside my network, which redirected to my Nabucasa address and failed.

Now, every time I click ’open web UI’, it tries to use the Nabucasa URL regardless of whether it is inside the network. I have reinstalled the add-on, but it still tries to use the Nabucasa URL.

However, I can connect to Mealie using the internal URL I initially noted.

Ultimately, I am looking for advice on how I can access the Mealie add-on outside of my local network using Nabucasa like I can currently with all other add-ons.

The author of that add-on needs to add support for ingress for that to work.

Thank you. I’ve been banging my head against the wall for days trying to sort this.

Originally tried to create a separate mealie server but got too confused with reverse proxy etc and then came across the mealie add-on and thought all my prayers had been answered……this was short lived.
