I updated to 115.x and want to use the media browser. Works fine …I can select a local music file (wav) I can select an output device (google home mini or cromecast audio) but when I press the play button I hear no sound. When I use the spotify integration to play something from my playlist, the music plays fine.
EDIT: when selecting Webbrowser as player , song is played.
Anybody has a hint ? My sound files are on my synology nas.
did u solve that? i got the same problem 
No unfortunately I did not. I had to reconfigure my router and now it is even impossible to see the stored music, while of an other subfolder, mounted the same way, everything is visible.
in docs i read out i need to have external ip like duckdns and i dont have that so it wont work no matter i would do
Where did you read that. I don’t believe that that is correct. As far as I know Home assistant does not force you to leave your local network.

I can listen to the music on my server now, but do not know how I got there …I am sorry.
