Media Control Card - Background and Font Color as Attributes

As the new Media Control Card is great and changes background and font color dynamically based on the artwork of the playing media it would be very great to have these colors in somewhat like an attribute of the media_player or a dedicated sensor.
I would like to use these colors at other places in my dashboard.

This is a great idea. While this is not yet available, perhaps a workaround can be found?
