Media Picture

Im trying to get extract the media picture from my home assistant sonos entity to use on a dashboard.

I found this

but I am unable to get see the picture if i goto my home assistant address with the copied url.

How could I get that picture and have it displayed on the dashboard?

then i think you have an error in the address.
what url do you use?

Sorry for just getting back to you here. so I use my https address and apend the /api/blahblahblah to that. I get a 404 not found. Is this how the url should look?

I am curious though, does that token change or the link?

I love asking you questions. I seem to discover my issue while typing to you for some reason lol.

Created a sensor without using the token but it downloads the file rather than displaying. I created a quick test dash using the code from the link at the top of this thread and same thing. As soon as I goto that dash it downloads the file rather than displaying it. Im wondering ig I need the token to view the file rather than download? That doesnt seem right tho…
