Mediaplayer as Airplay device

I have my echo as mediaplayers in home assistant.

Lately I read about how to set u mediaplayers in homekit. With this it is possible to stop and play the echos.

Is there a way to use mediaplayers as airplay devices? This would be awesome.

just install aircast from add-on store, there literally no config needed

Thanks for your reply but it looks like aircast only works for chromecast devices. So I think it won’t work with the amazon echo.

However as this is an old thread I already found another solution.

Edit: Just noticed that I was a bit too fast when I replied, because the solution I linked is great to integrate Alexa devices as media players into home assistant. But it doesn’t help to use them as Airplay devices (I somehow missed that this was my original question, probably because it’s an old topic).
