MediaPlayer Cover to Light Color

Since most MediaPlayer components are able to show the album art of the current playing song it would be cool to have a feature like this IFTTT applet.

Whenever the song changes the component/automation cold grab the image, find the most prominent/saturated color (no white or black) from the image and turn all or selected rgb light to that color.

After a quick search if found this ColorFinder to show what I mean regarding the choosing of the color from the album art

Hi @HansWurst90, i think this can be made with Hyperion.

@VDRainer Hyperion is an TV ambilight. Or I don’t understand, what exactely you mean.
What I mean is that HA takes the image, that is provided by the MediaPlayer component, picks the most prominent color and sets different devices like Hue lamps etc. to that color.

I’d bet that this is something you could accomplish with AppDaemon.
