I’ve been checking the posts from this month and haven’t seen any mention of this. My memory usage is climbing steadily requiring a reboot every two to three days. I’ve not made any system changes (hardware or software) just prior or following the update.
I’m using a Rpi3b, running home assistant OS 7.5, supervisor version 2022.3.4
The only thing I can think of is that it might be related to Zwave as I’ve yet to migrate away from the depreciated Zwave integration.
that’s my memory use for 16 days. highest is 16.5 % I’m running latest version core only install on a debian system. and also still on the old zwave.
so it maybe the the OS or supervisor. it does look like some type of house keeping occurs at midnight and takes it down to 10 % or so. edit: looks like 3:15am every day is the housekeeping
Hmm, Not sure what hardware you’re running, but my normal “base” memory usage is usually around 45% to 55%. Usually between 45 and 48.
I have an automation that does a reboot of the supervisor mon, wed, fri. Since the update, memory usage between restarts rises consistently until the next restart. I have another automation that alerts me if memory usage rises above 85% at which point I generally do a manual restart.
Since the update, I’ve had to perform several manual restarts due to memory usage exceeding 85% and staying above it consistently.
Honestly, I’ve no idea. I made no system changes prior to or after the update. One would assume that it was something in the update that is responsible.
I’ve no experience with portainer, other than seeing it mentioned in topics now and then.
Are there any other suggestions for what the issue might be?
Bearing in mind that I’ve zero experience with portainer, I’ve no idea how to install and use it, so if someone could lend a hand that’d be great
less that 24 hours after my last restart and memory usage has increased by just over 20%
