Memory leak on Hassbian

Hi altogether.

I’m using a Hassbian configuration with 0.48.1 on a raspberry Pi3. When I reboot the Pi and all is up and running my HA reports approximately 760 MiB free RAM. After two days the free RAM decreases to approximately 600 MiB and now and then even drops below 450MiB. After three days I have to reboot the Pi in order to keep a stable working HA.

Is anybody also experiencing the same kind of memory leak? What can I do to avoid it?

Regards,

For me it is not that drastic, but I have steadily decreasing free RAM as well.

I don’t experience any memory leak from HA, so I suspect it is from one of the components you have loaded.

The simple way to detect which would be to disable some components and see if the problem goes away. Although if everyone seeing the problem lists the components they are using you might be able to narrow it down.

Just to be sure, did you also check your cache values? Linux tend to use all free memory for cache until it really needs it. There is no benefit for unused memory.

If the cache also increases, the problem is probably somewhere else.
