Menu Items keep re-appearing and overview is becoming default each time

Hi All,

On the side menu in Home Assistant, I’ve got people living in my rental and I’ve set up some CCTV menus for them to use, I’ve removed it from my side menu so I cannot just go to it by accident or anything. When they look at the cameras it re-appears on my menu so almost twice per day I’m removing it. It also keeps defaulting back to the overview menu. These are different profiles used.

Example
Admin: (ME) - Default Overview is always used.
User A: first page opened is “Custom Dashboard”
User B: first page opened is “Custom Dashboard”
App forced closed “Custom Dashboard” returns to the Default overview page, It just gives them a blank page as I’ve turned off visibility due to showing my location etc.

It seems that logins are just viewers of the master profile and what they should be is like a Microsoft Windows profile, That user has their own “AppsData” file.

Done!!!, I’m surprised this shouldn’t even be a feature request.

Well you can either save the settings per device, as it is now, so that you can for example set up your display differently for wall panels or your phone. This has to be stored on the device.

Or you can set it up per user which could be stored on the server. The difficulty here is that you would have to create a user for each device you want different settings for.
