Meross Integration- Missing or am I just too green to understand what I am doing wrong?

New to HA. Just installed Home Assistant 2023.2.2
Supervisor 2023.01.1
Operating System 9.5
Frontend 20230202.0 - latest
On a VM mini PC and integrated EweLink and Smartthings. One of the reasons I wanted to swap from Smartthings is to get my Meross outlets on a local server. Before the swap, I did some research and it seemed like no problem. Now, there is no integration that I can find and there seems to be a lot of old information. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction to get Meross directly integrated with HA instead of going through ST and, even better, get me to where I can control my outlets directly. For my Ewelink stuff, I plan to flash it with ESPHome over time and move them to local control. Any Help is appreciated.

I use this custom component for Meross which works well.

The easiest way to install the meross component is to install it through hacs

I see no reason you’d have any issues. Probably best to follow one of the step by step video guides on YouTube if you’re just starting out.
