Meross mss310 plug not available

After the Update from Homeassistant to version 2023.4.5 my Meross mss310 plug is not available.

When I click on the entity I get the following message:

This entity is no longer provided by the meross_cloud integration. If the entity is no longer used, delete it in settings.

I use the integration “Meross Cloud IoT”

Does that mean I can no longer use the plug via Homeassistant? Or is there another option?

I’ve been having issues with Meross and Tuya devices since one of the last updates in March. They both go unavailable and back to available sporadically. While searching for issues I read that Meross is Tuya devices. Have you tried reloading the integration? That works for me sometimes but they still go out randomly.

I haven’t tried adding them to Tuya and then using local Tuya which may be a solution.

I’m replacing both brands. They’re cheap but not reliable.

Can you explain how you get it to Tuya and then using local Tuya?

First, you need the Tuya App on your mobile device. Once it’s set up, you can add devices from there. Add one of the plugs to make sure it works.

Once you have that done you can download Local Tuya from HACS. Here’s the repo:

I suggest following a video to get it all connected because it seems like a bit much at first.
