Met Office weather forecast integration

Hi,

I’ve been told by my girlfriend I can only have a dashboard if it uses UK Met Office rather than another provider. It is (anecdotally) very accurate. There was an integration using the Met Office’s Datapoint API, but that is now replaced by a new “Datahub” API which is incompatible with the integration. It’s impossible to sign up to the old API now.

I don’t have the skills to make an integration unfortunately. Is anyone else looking for this?

Template weather provider from UK Met Office DataHub API

The UK Met Office publishes its weather forecasts via two APIs: DataPoint (old, with a deprecation timeline) and DataHub (new, still being developed). The official Met Office HA integration uses DataPoint.
