MHCOZY 4 Channel Zigbee Relay

I’m using the 4 channel MHCOZY Zigbee Relay in my chicken coop outside (50 yards from the house but has lots of mesh connections to outdoor lights, etc…)

I had no problems pairing and it worked flawlessly at first… but within a few days it began intermittently failing to execute when I try to activate the relays. But it still shows the device as available. I also have a battery powered door sensor and temp sensor within a few feet of it and they have had no issues. So I’m not sure if it’s a radio/interference/connectivity issue or something else, but like I said it appears to be connected and available without interruption, it just isn’t turning relays off and on.

Also of note… when I turn the relays on via the buttons on the board itself, it reports that state change immediately, if I then tried to turn off the same relay via HA it seems to stall.

See attached screenshot for the error I get when I try to reconfigure.

I have several of this 4 channel zigbee relay and all of them worked flawlessly, all of it are paired via Z2M.

I have 2 of it basically I used as a DIY zigbee power strip, and another 3 of it using it to convert my dumb desk and stand fan into smart one by setting the module to interlock mode and create a fan template on home assistant to control the relays based on set speed.

Is Z2M more reliable than ZHA integration? I’m fairly new to zigbee and have only used ZHA

Hello, I have the same issue, how did you solve it? I have two of them and only one is doing this.
