Same thing here, no data using hass.io 0.75.2
Had the same issue too. Then I installed the bluetooth addon and it works again
Hmmm the bluetooth addon is for BT not BTLE so should not make any difference and I have it installed and running anyway for BT device tracking which it works very well for.
Running HA 0.75.3 in virtualenv on a Rasperry Pi 3 B+
Miflora stopped working since 0.73.1 (I believe). hcitool le scan finds all sensors and MiFlora native app can communicate with the sensors. Firmwares of the sensors are all up to date. bluepy is the latest.
Any ideas?
you reinstall the bluethooth addon?
I’m running hassos latest version with HA 0.75.3. With this version, the miflora sensors are working. Raspberry pi model 3 B+ 64 bit.
OK, I found that Room-Assistant was causing my problems, removed the addon and now I get my mi-flora back
Little offtopic, sorry for that.
Did someone test the reachability of the sensor. How far can both devices be apart? Pi 3B and mi flora
At least six meter. Probably not a record.
Does anyone have their graph look like this?
Some very regular spikes on an indoor plant.
Outdoor plant:
I’m not using the median: 3
configuration on my sensor, should I?
I don’t think your graphs look strange. As you can see, it is different scale due to different brightness for yours indoor and outdoor plants. The lower difference the less precise values are reported by the sensor, in other words, the values fluctuate a little bit but due to very small scale it looks like some spikes.
Do mi flora work with hassio and if yes what is the procedure ? Thanks
Yes many of us use them with hassio. All you need to get up and running is on the component section of the website.
Please outline your steps and maybe share your config. Were you able to run the bluetoothctl scan tool to find the mi flora MAC address to use in your config?
Are you running on a Pi 3 with the latest HassOS?
yes i’m running latest hassos on Pi 3
iìv already scan the mac of miflora with another raspberry and inserted in config.yaml
What version of HassOS are you running?
Try to ssh into your hassio host and run the scan from there, follow the instructions on component page.
the version of hassio is 0.86.0b1
