It would be nice if there was a way to support HA and all these 3rd party developers of integrations/hacs in a simple way. As a lazy person I would like to see the option to donate X€ per month and that this would be distributed to HA and all the creators of integrations I am currently using. Would be nice to be able to modify the ratios and also to also add other people who I want to donate to for example youtube creators that make tutorials etc.
Why don’t you subscribe to nabu casa and the proceeds will get back to them. Just a thought and you get access while mobile.
Its better than nothing but would be nice to target the donations to what is important for me as the cloud service is not one of them.
Also to be able to choose the amount and have it redistributed also to all these 3rd parties would be nice.
HA is important to you, and HA is funded by cloud subscriptions through Nabu Casa.
If that is the only option. Would have been nice with an option to opt out of the cloud service and to set own price for the subscription. But maybe there is some kind of tax reason for this not to be possible. And for 3rd parties I guess there is no other way than to make donations individually yearly or something. Maybe some day.
you can also support through Github donation system (although I have stopped myself to do that now that Github owner charges some extra costs for donations at open-source projects, shame on Micro$oft !

Yeah I was just reacting to the “what is important” part of your reasoning.
Trouble is if you start donating various microdonations, they do start to add up. It’s hard to get right.
