Migrate form PI4 to ODROID-N2+

I want to migrate from PI4 to ODROID-N2+. Is there a way to do that without reconfigurring the whole system?

What are the advantages of ODROID-N2+?
I already found out that it’s faster and the storage is faster. Is it stable?

Is my RFXtrx working on ODROID-N2+?

Hey Alex. You didn’t mention what installation method you used for HA for your current setup. If you are using HA Operating System (which lots do, especially for the Pis), then Home Assistant itself should ship with a backup module to backup your configuration. If you take a backup and then export the file, you can re-import the file using HA Operating System, even if your hardware is different.

See: Common tasks - Operating System - Home Assistant

I actually use a Google Drive backup addon to automate most of my backup tasks.

If you choose to use the addon, you just need to get HA up and running on the N2+, install the addon on the new instance, sign in with Google on the addon and you should have the option from the addon to restore the backup you took from the Pi.

If the Google Drive addon isn’t your thing, then you can still take a backup in HA, setup HA on the N2, move the backup file into the backup directory using the Samba addon for example, then restore.

I hope that this information helps! Enjoy the reliability of the N2.
