Is there a possibility that I can migrate a camera that is integrated in HK to HA?
I bought the new Aqara G4 bell to get my poorly running Netatmo doorbell off the wall. Unfortunately, the new Aqara does not allow me to integrate it into HA in parallel.

Strictly speaking you could unpair it from the Home app and then pair it in Home Assistant (potentially then re-exposing it again back to the Home app from Home Assistant). You would lose HKSV by doing this.
Aqara have promised to add Matter support for this device but that remains to be seen given that the Matter spec does not even have cameras yet.
The only other possible way would be to do an Aqara Cloud API integration but I’ve yet to see one. Moreover, I don’t think that the Cloud API even supports cameras.

just wrote to Aqara support a few days ago, with the same question:
“when will Matter be available for Aqara Smart Video Doorbell G4?”
They answered yesterday:
“Thanks for reaching out to us. We are sorry for the inconvenience that the smart video Doorbell G4 doesn’t support matter at the moment. We have submitted this to the developer team and sincerely hope that this function can be released in the near future. Your valuable patience and time will be more appreciated here in advance and let’s keep in touch.”
